Update

I know you can't stand the cute factor here! Like the new hairdo : ) Love that someone is doing her hair every day. Wish that we had gotten our letter (day 60, but who is counting, right?), but it was great to get these new photos : ) We got some updated measurements, and learned that she is called Ying Ying (kind of a nickname). We continue to wait for our letter so that we can send Junie some photos of her waiting family. Thanks for checking in.

Adoption Timeline

Here are our adoption stats - mainly useful for others who are in the process : ) I am not fancy enough to know how to place these stats elsewhere on my page - so I'll take any tips!

5/4/09 - We are first told that Heng Ying is waiting for a family

5/7/09 - We lock her file

5/19/09 - We have PA from China to adopt HY

6/22/09 - We begin our homestudy

2/4/10 - We are DTC

2/24/10 - We have LID

Was hoping for four of these adorable yellow skirts in this year's Easter photo; guess we'll have to wait until next year for that : ) Day 50 of waiting for LSC - don't see many coming out this week so far...

41 days and waiting...

See how I couldn't even wait a whole 10 more days to post that????!!! Hoping that LSC's will speed up a little - there is a big Trade Fair in the fall near where adoptions are finalized...so, hoping they will try to get some more families in and out by sending out more notices and TA's soon : ) I can hope.
